Devon Eyes welcomes referrals from any optometrist. These are practices we have developed a particularly close working relationship with — built on a shared commitment to the highest quality of care.
Our partnerships are built on clinical values, not commercial arrangements. Devon Eyes does not pay for referrals and does not incentivise referrals based on volume. Our relationships with these practices exist because we share the same goal: timely, transparent, patient-centred eye care. We welcome referrals from any optometrist — independent, group, or otherwise — and every patient will receive the same standard of care regardless of where they were referred from.

Devon Eyes is independent of all corporate optical groups. When you refer to Devon Eyes, your patient is seen by a named consultant—Mr Sam Evans FRCOphth—not a booking system or a rotating locum team.
We understand the importance of the optometrist-consultant relationship. We communicate clearly, respect your clinical judgment, and aim to make the shared care pathway as smooth as possible for you and your patients.
"Devon Eyes is independently owned and not part of any optical chain or corporate group. Mr Evans personally sees every patient referred by partner practices."
